Mahindra Thar 5-Door to Launch on August 15, 2024
Mahindra & Mahindra, the Indian automaker, has officially announced the launch date of its highly anticipated 5-door version of the popular Thar SUV. The new Thar 5-Door is set to debut on August 15, 2024, coinciding with India’s Independence Day celebrations.
The 5-door Thar is expected to be a game-changer in the lifestyle off-roader segment, offering increased practicality and seating capacity compared to the current 3-door model. With a longer wheelbase and two additional doors, the 5-door Thar will provide easier access to the rear seats, making it more suitable for family use.
Design and Features The 5-door Thar will retain the iconic silhouette of its 3-door sibling, but with several design updates. Expect to see a revised front grille, new front and rear bumpers, and a set of circular LED headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs). The rear door handles will be positioned on the C-pillars to maintain a three-door look
Inside the cabin, the 5-door Thar will feature a significant upgrade, including a larger infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, and a new steering wheel shared with the Scorpio N. Automatic climate control and an electric sunroof will add to the comfort and convenience
